"Cuentos Son Arte," named after San Anto's 50th mural, is an initiative designed to document and preserve San Anto Cultural Arts' work in San Antonio, focusing on its roots in the West Side community. The project will gather interviews with artists and community members, physical archives, and digital archives to tell the story of San Anto's murals. Because these murals flow from and reflect local history, archiving the murals is a powerful way to record the history of San Antonio and the West Side.
