Note: This mural was part of a mobile exhibit and is no longer in San Antonio.
Lead artists: Reyes Garcia and Robert Muñoz
Date: July 2002

Architect Gregory Snyder built the mobile gallery to display "This House is Home," a Bill Bamberger photography exhibit. The exhibit was meant to document the experience of first-time, low income homeowners. Bamberger took photos and conducted interviews with families in Chattanooga, Tennessee; rural eastern North Carolina; and San Antonio, Texas. San Anto Cultural Arts partnered with the exhibit by painting the outside of the Mobile Gallery. The design is based in graffiti art, proving the point that graffiti is not just a crime but also a style and a movement. Two local high school students and graffiti artists completed the mural, Reyes Garcia (Lanier High School) and Robert Muñoz (B.C.S.I Charter School).
