This video documents the creation of the mural, from the first days of preparing the wall to the day of the finished murals dedication. Join Ruth on her journey as she creates her first mural as Lead Muralist / Designer.

"Por Nuestro Ojos / Through Our Eyes - The Cassiano Homes Family Foto Project"
SYNOPSIS: Por Nuestro Ojos / Through Our Eyes stems from a project organized by Danny Delgado and Cristina Ordoņez to document the reality and importance of the daily life in the Cassiano Home community, located in the Westside of San Antonio. Eleven families were chosen to participate in the project and a member of each family was given disposable cameras to document his/her everyday life: everything from family cookouts to hanging with friends. Each of the participants told their stories as they live them and as they see them, through their eyes. This video documents the opening of the exhibition in one of the Cassiano Home units, to have the fotos displayed at the availability of all who wished to stop by.

Tributo A La Gloria
"TRIBUTO Á LA GLORIA"
SYNOPSIS: The story of a San Antonio landmark, built in 1928 and destroyed in 2002, "La Gloria" was the site of memories for generations of the Westside community. This short documentary by Cristina Ordoņez charts the building of La Gloria, through its heyday and the battle to keep the building standing. Archival material is combined with interviews to present a look at the lives touched by the building affectionately known as "La Gloria".

"Stained Glass Mosaic Para La Virgen De Guadalupe"
SYNOPSIS: In the summer of 2003, Philadelphia artist Anabelle Rodriguez travelled to San Antonio as part of the fist San Anto Cultural Arts Artist-In-Residence Project. In collaboration with the staff and residents of the Guadalupe Home for Expectant Mothers, Anabelle and San Anto produced a stained glass mosaic mural of the Virgen De Guadalupe that is now proudly displayed at the Guadalupe Home. This video documents the life of the mural from design to installation, including the day the Westside community gathered for blessing of the mosaic at the Guadalupe Home.
