Mission Statement

San Anto Cultural Arts believes that people should have the ability to record their history, culture and heritage through their own words and vision. SACA unearths, affirms, cultivates, and showcases the wonderful talents among the youth, adults and elders of one of San Antonio’s most economically depressed and underserved communities. We believe in providing individuals access to equipment, knowledge, and training in order to express themselves regardless of race, gender, or socio-economic background, so they will have the opportunity to realize their talents, interest and potential. Furthermore, we believe in the perpetuation and self-sufficiency of community cultural arts programs by empowering people with the skills, knowledge, and experience to pass on those skills, knowledge, and experience to others in their communities. It is the mission of the SACA community to provide and create cultural arts programs that aid in the development of the individual and their community.
