2014 HUEVOS RANCHEROS GALA

Picture
The annual Huevos Rancheros Gala is a unique, community-based event held in the heart of San Antonio’s west side. The opposite of a traditional “Gala,” the Huevos Rancheros Gala is a Saturday morning event featuring huevos rancheros as the main course. It is a casual, fun, cultural event that brings together all members of the community. Each year, San Anto Cultural Arts honors two local heroes by crowning them King and Queen Huevo. These titles are bestowed upon two outstanding individuals that have made an impact on the cultural and artistic vibrancy of our community.  The King and Queen participate in a parade-style processional through the neighborhood and into the event space.

Their presentation is accompanied by a local dance performance, live art exhibition, and musical entertainment. Also included in the festivities this year are a silent art auction, a raffle.  As San Anto’s primary fundraiser, the Huevos Rancheros Gala is an all-inclusive event meaning all can attend. Major Sponsorships are welcomed, but anyone can join us by providing a donation that is within their means. RSVP  to huevos@sananto.org or register below.
